Iron Pillar Mehrauli – Built by Powerful Emperor Vikramaditya

Iron Pillar Mehrauli Delhi was built by Chandragupta II who was also known by his title name Vikramaditya. This stand is situated in the Qutb complex in Mehrauli, Delhi.

The metal which is used in the construction of this pillar is rust-resistant. It is 23 feet 8 inches in height with 16 inches diameter and  weighs 3,000 kg.
