The National Gallery of Modern Art Delhi is leading art gallery of India (NGMA)

National Gallery of Modern Art Delhi (NGMA) is the leading art gallery of India. The Jaipur House in Delhi which is the main museum in the gallery was established in 29th March 1954. Later other subsequent branches were established in Mumbai and Bangalore.

The gallery has a big exhibition hall of 12,000 square meters. It has more than 1700 work collection of 2000 artists including  Thomas Daniell, Raja Ravi Varma, Abanindranath Tagore, Rabindranath Tagore, Gaganendranath Tagore etc. The gallery has many oldest collection of work which have been preserved from 1857.
